This beautiful Midnight Blue vessel is carved with a radiating pattern on the top of the cap that centers around an intensely iridescent Opal set into one of our signature Sterling Silver bezels. The stunning 6mm natural gemstone from Ethiopia provides the perfect focal point for the design.
The sidewall of the cap is finely carved with a pattern that ensures a positive grip, just like the pattern of contoured squares on the vessel body below.
We cut those squares with our 1875 Ornamental Lathe, but the cap was carved entirely on our 1915 Rose Engine.
